function and then develop a product to advertise using that
enzyme.
- Organelle Campaign: Students organize and run a campaign for an organelle, hoping to win the votes for Most Important Organelle.

City!: Students research structure and function of organelles
in a plant cell and create a 3D model of a city as an analogous
model.
- Corporeal Adventures: Students produce a marketing campaign for a travel agency highlighting travel tours through five human body systems.

Students take on roles as forensic scientists to solve criminal
cases.

Camera, Action!: Students work in teams to produce stop motion
videos or animations of biological processes.

Heroes: Students research the Greek gods of Mount Olympus, as
well as ancient and modern heroes to choose the crew for Ulysses'
ship for his travels home from Troy.

Dissection 101: Created by Ryan Anderson, students look at
advertising techniques and create their own ad based on what they
have learned.
- Life
Imitates Art: Based on William Golding's Lord of the Flies,
students are stranded on a tropical island and must put together a
survival manual, map of the island from the book, and two poster -
one about a shell and the other about laws or rules that will be
followed while on the island.
- All
About Poetry: Students research eight different types of
poetry and produce a portfolio with either original work or
favorite examples of each type.
